Meet Gerald. The pond has been pretty quiet since the toads stopped singing, but he’s been treating us to his repeated single-note, broken-banjo-string song every evening, and even throughout the day.
Standing on the frozen bay of Erie, PA, sheltered from Lake Erie by the Presque Isle state park.
Stealing a quiet hour to add words to a new story. It’s fun to spend time with this fuzzy-brained, great-hearted little guy.
